Entrance test and final exam for distance learning DAEFLE (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du FLE)

This diploma course, with a professional aim, is the result of a partnership between l’Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France and the Centre National d’Enseignement à Distance, CNED.

It is intended for anyone preparing to teach or already teaching French to a non-French speaking public in France or abroad. The course can be taken anywhere in the world.

The content of the training is oriented towards classroom practice: the courses alternate between theoretical readings, activities based on documents and application exercises. They are accessible online on an educational platform dedicated to the DAEFLE, which also offers a space for exchanges and collaborative work. Online tutoring, provided by trainers, effectively complements the course materials and helps you throughout your training to acquire the knowledge and skills related to the profession.

Access test DAEFLE

An access test is required to verify the level of French of the candidates for the DAEFLE training. The test is compulsory for those who wish to obtain a diploma. The preliminary test is an online test taken from the candidate’s home. It remains valid for a first registration to the training within 3 years after the test.

Final Test DAEFLE

The Alliance Française de Zurich is an approved examination center to register for the final examination at the end of the course.

Registration for the final exam

To register for the final examination, the candidate must provide the selected examination center with:

• the registration form DAEFEL duly and legibly completed. Registration Form – Alliance Française de Zurich
• a copy of the certificate of validation of the 6 modules
• a copy of the proof of payment of the registration fee of 395,- CHF (copy of the proof of bank or postal payment)

Incomplete applications that arrive after the deadline will not be considered. Once the registration is confirmed by our administration, no refund or postponement will be accepted.
